President Buhari has responded to the grim killing of three undergraduates of the University of Port Harcourt, by a bunch of kidnappers. On May 1st, information detailed that the deteriorated body of three UNIPORT students, Joy Adoki, Nelson Nwafor and Fortune Obimba, who were seized on April 7, 2020, were recuperated in a shallow grave taking after the capture of the suspects, Friday Akpan.
Akpan had told the police that the students were captured on the arrange of one Bright who charged the victims of selling him out after cash was paid into the account of one of them. The captured suspect confessed that they murdered and buried the three students after assaulting the female among them, Joy Adoki.
Reacting to the sad occurrence, President Buhari in a statement discharged by his Senior Special Assistance on Media and publicity, Garba Shehu, commiserated with the families of the deceased students.
